The Flo family is deeply committed to giving back. Our mission is simple yet powerful - to uplift and stand beside vulnerable women and children around the world.
Community Kindness is at the heart of who we are. From the beginning, we set out to build a business that gives back - one where generosity, compassion, and connection are part of our very foundation. We know not all women have the same opportunities, and we’re devoted to creating change through kindness, action, and love.

OUR IMPACT
Through our Flo Gives Back initiatives, we’re proud to support charities that bring hope, empowerment, and tangible change to communities in need. Our contributions have supported incredible organisations including the Cancer Society, Charity Water, Cyclone Gabrielle Relief Fund, Tearfund, Ukraine Emergency Appeal, and Upside Youth Mentoring, among others.
Over the past few years, we’ve donated over $229,000 to Tearfund, helping empower women and girls in remote parts of Nepal.
Following Cyclone Gabrielle, we contributed $50,000 to the Relief Fund to support those most affected - including $2,000 generously donated by our customers.
Through our Gift Wrap That Gives Back initiative, we’ve donated over $38,000 to Upside Youth Mentoring, helping young people find strength and confidence through supportive mentorship.
We’ve also proudly given $30,000 to Women’s Refuge and $20,000 to Homes of Hope Fiji, helping women and children find safety, stability, and brighter futures.
In addition, we regularly donate clothing to organisations supporting women facing poverty, domestic violence, and health challenges.
It’s our privilege to stand beside women and communities in their moments of need and our greatest joy to see how kindness, when shared, can create lasting change.
Flo Gives Back
Flo Gives Back is an initiative that was founded in 2017 to empower and support vulnerable women and children. Partnering with Share and Care Nepal through Tearfund, an amazing project in Makwanpur began. Located in rural Nepal, Flo Gives Back assisted in creating an empowered community of women who were able to protect themselves from exploitation, and slavery, and drive their own economic development.
In 2018, we were able to visit the work and meet the very women who were impacted. Chrissy and her daughters Ruby, Lucy and Bella travelled (self-funded) with the Tearfund team to rural Nepal and visited villages in remote mountains. The families are subject to extreme weather events, resulting in poverty, and the work being done by Tearfund and Share & Care Nepal is life-changing for these beautiful women and their families.
HUMBLE + HEART
Every piece from Humble + Heart is designed with love - to celebrate individuality, connection, and kindness.
15% of every Humble + Heart sale goes directly to our Tearfund donation fund, supporting projects that empower women and girls in remote communities.
When you choose Humble + Heart, you’re not only embracing timeless style - you’re helping create brighter futures for women around the world.
“It was a dream-come-true to sit in a hut on a remote mountain with my 3 daughters, who all have such a heart for giving, and have inspired me so much on this journey, with these special women - mothers just like me, and their children, who they had hopes and dreams for - whose lives had been changed for the better due to our support.
They were building thriving small farming businesses, and their girls and boys were attending school, which was a 2 hour walk away across hilly terrain.
It was such a privilege and remains a big part of our motivation to ensure our business thrives and is a vehicle for giving to others in need”.

Some of the ways Share & Care Nepal supports this community is by:
-
WORKSHOPS
Under The Dignity Project many women have attended business training, and skills and budgeting workshops. Over 1000 women have attended these. Due to micro loans and as a result of the training and support many have built their own sustainable small farming and livestock businesses, ensuring a brighter future for them and their children. Many of the children now attend school and have bright hopes for their future.
-
EDUCATION
Helping girls gain the education that is essential for personal development and future independence. Through this program, Tearfund is not only investing in the girls' futures but also fostering long-term positive change within the broader community.
-
SELF-HELP GROUPS
Many community Self-Help Groups (SAGs) have been formed and mobilised. Through this work more than 2000 women have received education on safe migration and anti-human trafficking, and gender-based violence.
-
REHABILITATION
Extending a healing hand to victims of human trafficking, guiding them back to their families and equipping them with skills for a better life.
