Launched in 2013, Murkani Jewellery is an Australian-owned company with a passion for creating beautiful pieces in a mindful way with durable materials. Murkani founder Kiralee McNamara had a dream to create a business that could support women in less fortunate situations than herself by giving them the opportunity to live a life of freedom with control over their own destinies.
In 2019, Kiralee recognised this dream by partnering with HAGAR AUSTRALIA to support their Economic Empowerment Program for Cambodian women who were victims of trafficking, abuse or modern slavery to live free and more rewarding lives.
$10 from every necklace purchased and $5 for every pair of earrings sold from the Freedom collection will go to supporting HAGAR’s vocational training programs in Cambodia.

Who is HAGAR?
HAGAR is an international not-for-profit organisation that works to transform the lives of women and children who have been trafficked, enslaved or abused and to bring an end to these crimes. Their vision is to see communities free and healed from the trauma of human trafficking, slavery and abuse.
