Flo's top tips for Spring Picnics...

Spring has sprung and you know what that means, picnics season is here. Here's a few of our top tips for creating a dreamy pinterest-worthy potluck picnic with loved ones.

- Use wooden boards

One of the best things that can make a picnic super special, is presenting the food in a beautiful way! Bring a variety of boards to display your spread on. Our favourite ones at the moment are these dark brown ones from Maytime.

- Pick one cuisine

Chose one cuisine, and ask everyone to bring something in keeping with it, so you get a taste sensation, rather than getting a whole bunch of things that would never usually be eaten together.

Our favourite cuisine at the moment is Mediterranean, which Yotam Ottolenghi's newest book 'Flavour' is perfect for. Flavour-forward, vegetable-based recipes are at the heart of Yotam Ottolenghi’s food.

.

- Use reusables

In light of trying to tread lighter on the environment, a great way to create less waste from a picnic, use stemless silicone reusable wine glasses rather than plastic or single use paper ones. These are more fun to use and far better for the environment. You can also bring reusable cutlery sets! Shop them here.

.

- Bring games

Everyone loves doing a few games after eating, so bring along your favorite's like Jenga and Petanque. This gives you something to do once your feast has been eaten, and is always fun after a few drinks.

Happy picnicking!

Love,
