Summer Gin & Tonic
from the 'Gin Tonica' recipe book
Summer is the key season in the Gin calendar, and with fine, warmer weather, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors with a delicious drink!
50ml Gin
150ml Grapefruit and Rosemary Tonic Water
Wedges of lime, lemon and orange to garmish
Add fresh ice cubes to fill 3/4 of the glass and stir gently for 15 seconds with a bar spoon or chopstick to chill the glass.
Top up the glass with more ice. Add the gin, trying to ensure that you coat the ice as you pour. Add the tonic water. Pouring slowly helps the tonic to keep it's fizz
Add the lime, lemon and orange and let it rest for 30 seconds to allow the flavour to integrate with each other.
